Crossing my fingers
I bought this from Fry's Electronics because they were running a special to sell it half off with a service plan. Short battery usage
This camera takes great pictures, but it will not take very many with rechargeable batteries (which have a lower voltage than regular AA alkaline batteries). The "Battery Empty" indication appears after only a few pictures when using NimH 1.25V rechargeable batteries.

seems to be great
took about 120 pics on the batteries it came with which is what they say it will do, also I turned the camera on and off almost every pic. picture quality rivals a 400 dollar camera I bought and returned. I say for the money buy it even consider over a pricier model.

Avoid this camera!
I thought this would be an upgrade from my Olympus C160, which is an old work-horse. How wrong I was. This has a serious problem with batteries....not that it eats them (which it does) but that it doesn't even read them. You can insert brand new, fully charged batteries, and it will say...
