batteries need jump-start
Nyko ships the batteries completely dead so initially the smart charger circuits will see them as bad because it needs a certain voltage across the terminals to tell that the battery is good

Fix for NonFunctioning stations.
I got this product for $1 at a goodwill, looked like new. Planned to resell it. Well apparently someone donated it because it was defective as sooo many people have stated.
