Tiny with lots of bells and whistles!

We bought this camera right before Christmas 2005 and haven't been able to stop taking photos! We have over four GBs of photos stored on our laptop.
The camera replaced our well-used Coolpix, which we bought in 2002 and traveled to every non-continually frozen continent with. NIKON is a leader in lens technology and, frankly, that's the most important part of taking any picture.
We decided to upgrade to the smaller S3 primarily to allow my wife to carry a camera in her purse. The Coolpix was a bit larger and had a manual lens cap and needed to be rotated to use. The S3 is one-button on and point and shoot.
There are sooooo many cool features, which we're experimenting with even to this day. I love the background "motifs", which add so much to basic hangin' around the house photos of our two kids.
The resolution is excellent and we've had a few pics blown-up to 11x14's at the local Walgreens and they look like they were done a Picture People!
The video is excellent quality and is great to take candid shots, compress, and e-mail them to family.
