Great Camera, Great Price
Pros
great clarity, low price, many options
Cons
hard to use at first, Tripod adapter is too far left.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
I recommend that you buy this camera if your going to be making prints of your photos. This is a great price for such a high quality camera.
The Nikon Coolpix L1 is a great buy for someone who's looking to get some good pictures and doesn't know much about photography. This digital camera is automatic so it will do the hard stuff for you.
Good
Price! This is a great camera for $200
Clarity, The camera has such great definition which comes in handy for prints
5x Optical Zoom, This can bring you right up next to what you want to take a picture of.
Mem Usage. This can store a lot of pictures in a small space.
Neat little voice feature allows you to put a 20 voice clip with each pic
There are 5 color options with this camera (Standard Color, Vivid Color, Black and White, Cyanotype, and Sepia)
Macro mode allows you to take pictures from 1.6 inches away from your subject.
Bad
You have to read the manual before you use it.
Tripod adapter is too far left, it will tip over on some tripods.
Overall I would say buy this camera and read the manual before you use it. You can also check out some features online I believe (I haven't tried). I think this camera is well worth your $200.
