Overpriced, decent card
My router (an SMC 802.11G router) is on the third floor and I'm using this card in my notebook on the first floor and I get 7-8 out of 8 "dots" on the signal strength meter and consistently connect at 54 Mbps. Great card when used as follows
The "need for speed" has me constantly testing & comparing PCMCIA wireless cards at home, local hotspots and hotels.
At home I decided long ago that the Netgear WGT624 is the best wireless router and mated it with a Netgear 511T which produced 108MBPS within 10 feet of router and 54MBPS...
