The Bottom Line:
For an average headset Motorola makes one above average.
Our 360 headsets broke that we had and I was trying to find a decent replacement for them. I did not want to break the bank because I have three kids who will be using these headsets. Found the Motorola X205 for $7 on a website and thought it was a piece of cheap crap. Not so. Designed to look like the NFL coaches headset, Motorola seemed to be trying to find a niche for the Madden junkies who play games.
The headsets are somewhat heavy compared to the Microsoft headsets, but they are padded and fit snuggly on the head. They were a little to tight for my melon and I hope that after some use it will be a touch less. I don't play much, so these fit my kids (Ages 10-15) perfectly. The sound is quality and better than what the old headsets had. These also seem more durable although I did have to rearrainge items to make space for them in our gameroom.
The only thing I would complain about is the jack itself. It comes unplugged easily and often while playing your movement caused you to unhook your headset. Other than that, these headsets would be the first kind I would buy unless I was going to the top brands.
