The Bottom Line:
Very handy to have, easy to use, good range but don't over charge or forget to charge before use if off for several days
The headset was part of a package deal but I would have purchased it anyway because I really like it. The volume is decent and the range is really impressive. I walked all over the house with it on in a call, forgetting it might be limited in range but found that I'd have to actually go outside to go out of range. Not quite as long range as a cordless home phone but not far from it. This headset is light and comfy to wear. At first, it felt like it wouldn't stay on but a few adjustments solved the problem. It works on both my CDMA and GSM phones fine. Audio is better on the GSM as the system is clearer. In any case, performance was fine and call on/off button worked well as do the volume levels. Talk time seems decent but internal battery doesn't hold a charge. It must be unplugged from the charger once the blue light goes out. Overcharging will cause the headset to fail as I found out from a friend who has the same one, now dead. She charged it too long and kept it on the charger. If you can still get this headset, it's a good one all around. I even liked it better than the Jawbone, which had very muddy audio in its speaker. The only other quirk is the audio from it sounds a little like a speakerphone to the person you're speaking with due to the proximity of the mic part. But, it's never a problem so I'm told. IF this unit is no longer available, the H 700 is supposed to be a great alternative. Mine wasn't expensive and very useful.
