The Bottom Line:
would not purchase this product
I purchased this TV and it has been a pain. When it works, the picture is great, with HD service. The problem is getting the TV to turn on and stay on. When the TV is powered on it will give printing in the bottom of screen that says something along the lines of: Check air flow vent TV will be powered off. The only way I can keep this TV from powering off is to keep a fan pointed on the back of the TV. I have had a technician come out to my house twice and his explanation is that Mittsubishi placed the lamp in a place on the TV that is exposed to higher temperature. The last time he stated he moved the lamp to a different location in the back of the TV but the TV is still having problems. If you dont mind an extra buzzing from a fan while you watch your tv shows or movie then this probably isnt a problem for you. Once the TV is on and stays on then the TV works great and picture is wonderful. I have a smaller living room and when all of the lights are turned off and there is a spot in a movie that is very bright, it hurts your eyes, almost need sunglasses
