The Bottom Line:
I would recommend you stick with another product. This won't last as long as it should and you will get no support.
I bought this product because I tested it in the store and found it very comfortable to type with. The key arrangement and pressure was perfect, not to mention it looked great. I purchase it and was thrilled with it when I got home. Everything went great for 5 months, I was extremely pleased with the product. At the 5 month mark, the batteries died for the first time. This was an expected length of time for batteries to last so I changed them in both the keyboard and the mouse and thought nothing of it. 3 days later, the batteries in the mouse died again. I tested the batteries in another device and they were completely drained. I opened a new package of batteries and placed them in the mouse. 2 days later, batteries were dead again. This went on for a month. I found many customers with the same complaint, but there was no fix for this issue. I updated the device drivers, nothing resolved the problem. I attempted to contact Microsoft because I was within my one year warranty and found I would have to pay $30 through their support site in order to receive any assistance even though it was a known issue that they acknowledged but didn't fix in their product. I finally gave up, went out and bought myself a nice Logitech, and swore off Microsoft products.
