Pros Supple movement, handy gas lever, elegant shape
Cons Buttons are in an awkward position, only handy for flight simulations
Recommended it? Yes

The Force Feedback 2 joystick is the direct replacement for the older Force Feedback Pro from early 1998, and it has quite some improvements?

I love your curves?

The first thing I noticed that the base of the joystick was more rounded than its predecessor (which, if I may be... Read full review »

Pros Adds fun and excitement to gaming!
Cons Handle can be difficult for both too-small and too-large hands
Recommended it? Yes

As my first force feedback joystick, I waited for much anticipation of opening the box. The box was well packaged and "exciting" to look at, and inside I found the joystick was well-protected in shipment and came with two installation CD's (one was the software, the other a service pack for the... Pros great force, stick feels comfortable, lots of buttons
Cons not for lefties, can be dangerous if lifted,
Recommended it? Yes

After a lot of looking around, I decided to go with this joystick for a few reasons.

One reason is that Microsoft has great gaming hardware. The last joystick I owned was a Microsoft Sidewinder 3D Pro, circa 1997. I really enjoyed using that joystick, and decided I wanted another... Read full review »

Pros Great feedback abilities, good game support
Cons Pretty big
Recommended it? Yes

This thing is pretty big. It takes up more space than my mouse with mouse pad so it was a bit tricky finding a place for it on my desk. It's also a bit heavy, but in some ways this can be a good thing, since it makes it hard to move the whole thing in the middle of a game. Its size and the forces... Read full review »

I decided to upgrade my old Gravis joystick that I got about eight years ago. It is a basic joystick so playing games was good, but not the best.
I asked a few friends about which joystick would be good for playing flight and racing games. I had a few mixed reviews, but the Microsoft... Read full review »

Pros Well, it rumbles...
Cons Awkward for most games.
Recommended it? No

I was very disappointed by this joystick.

The range of motion is too large. Your arm will certainly get a workout jerking this thing all over the place.

Now, you're supposed to be able to adjust this in the Sidewinder control panel, but in my experience, the effects of changing... Read full review »

Pros Awesome manuevering, nice force feedback
Cons a little big

I have Sidewinder 2 and it is the coolest, meanest joystick ever. Not only does it have force feedback, it is very comfortable and hugs your hand nicely.
