good sound but no charging, no functions
Pros
Good sound, versatile, can hold some non-ipod MP3 players including Pogo.
Cons
Doesn't charge an iPod. Wobbly on its "feet".
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
It looks better than it works.
I bought this as a replacement for a bedside stereo set that would play my MP3 files and record from the radio by timer. The only way to do this is to buy the Pogo Radio Yourway and an external set for it. I was recommended by Pogo to purchase this mm22. I'm disappointed because it doesn't fit the Pogo quite right, and it does not charge it, though "The Phone Company" in Burlingame who sold me this said that it would have the proper connector on the bottom. It has no connector on the bottom.
Looks: good, and holds the ipod nicely, and the Pogo soso
Functionality: 4 speakers, makes pretty decent sound for such a small package. Portability is good - comes with a nice padded case. I think it's fine for playing an MP3 or from a computer, say at a trade show or a presentation.
But: it doesn't charge the ipod. It has no ipod-plug, only a 3.5mm audio plug. The stand is wobbly so it's easily knocked over, possibly damaging your ipod.
Bottom line: In my case I'm keeping it because the speakers are good, but it's not usable for the intended purpose as a bedside radio/CD replacement.
