The ClickSmart is a good webcam, but as a standalone camera, it's not so ClickSmart.
Sometimes the line between webcam and digital Camera are blurred. From my experience, when a camera attempts to do both, it usually succeeds at neither. Cheap Camera , Cheap Picture.
I also Received this Camera Free From Verizon DSL.
Even Getting it for free leaves my Unhappy with this camera.
The Camera can be used as a stand alone digital camera or hooked up to the Computer for a web cam.

Quality web cam but forget about taking pictures
I needed a quality web cam for my new PC that I could also take off-line for some quick shoots. I have owned a Logitec Traveler before and I was more than happy with that little marvel: amazing web cam quality and very decent off-line pictures, even under difficult light conditions.
