Cons No reasonable spin-down possibility, absolutely not "plug and play"

*******9/8/11 Update*******

Pros Easy to use and set up for basic network drive use.
Cons 255 character FTP command limit (file path limit), Port 21 only, proprietary drive format
Recommended it? No

Pros The NSLU2 does not cost much.
Cons The NSLU2 has much less value than what it costs.
Recommended it? No

I purchased these and the recommended Maxtor disk drives to place data files on the network. After a couple of weeks, one Microsoft Outlook's file (OUTLOOK.PST) was declared corrupt by Outlook.
