A solid combo dvd recorder/vcr
This unit has a ATSC tuner for high definition TV, a NTSC tuner for standard broadcast, and a QAM tuner for receiving unencrypted, high definition TV from basic analog cable. It's broke
I wish that I could say that this is a great product and that I'm very pleased, but unfortunately I'm not.
It's a shame to hear that these devices are prone to locking up, and unfortunately, I'm also victim of a bad unit.

Faulty Design that LG does not wants to admit
I bought this DVD recorder and VCR Combo with the intention of someday transferring my old tapes to DVDs. I was not in any hurry to do that so i did not connect it right away... waited long enough to run out of warranty period or and return. once i connected i was able to play DVD without any...
