Bluesman NY: reviews the Plug and the Spark-Plug

Cons
NO COMPLAINTS .. these are perfect...

Yes
The Bottom Line:
Low cost, excellent sound, great fit, blocks out noise, SUPER Bass
I bought my first Koss Plug two years ago. It made my cheap little RCA Lyra Sound awesome - extra bass - I can play it on 'Flat' and still get good Bass. On 'Rock' and 'Jazz' EQ, it kicks butt.
I bought a second pair for me and one for my kid (my wife took my second pair thus I bought the Spark-plug). I work out with both the Plug (has stiffer neoprene rubber ear pieces with 3 or 4 types to fit your ears) and the Spark-Plug (has 'squishy' ear pieces that you compress prior to insertion) which includes running indoors and out, treadmill and nordic track, free weights, bicycling, rowing etc. I use these when I travel and both perform excellent. The Spark-plug tends to slip-out of place when I really have a sweat going, but I dry 'em off and put them back in.
I've got small ears and can NEVER fit those cell-phone size ear buds into my ear. The Plug / Spark-Plug block outside sound (maybe 80%) and once you get used to that, NOTHING is as good (maybe a full size studio head set). Try em' on the riding mower .. you'll see !
I rate these as 9 of 10 for performance, 10/10 for price. I
guess other posts indicate they didn't like 'em, and that blows me away .. I paid $14 !! (not $189 like some others) and my first set is more than 2 years old, still kickin'.
