Cons
Dies pretty quick, and pictures are sometimes blurry.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
I recommend this camera to teens and tweens because it is easy to use and good for pictures with friends.
This camera is easy to use and is great to carry around in a purse. It's pretty small and and takes decent pictures and is a perfect camera for a teen who likes taking pictures with friends. The Kodak EasyShare C813 is easy to figure out so it is good for a first time camera owner. It does not take good pictures in bright light or when the battery is dying. I find i have to replace the batteries fairly often. When the battery is low the pictures are fuzzy or are completely dark with one light spot in the middle. The scenery settings are helpful but i find they dont make much of a difference. The zoom buttonsdo not work well and just make things extremely fuzzy. This camera is also not good with action shots because it takes a few seconds for the picture to take. It takes pretty good videos but it gets bumped around easily because it is very lightweight. Overall I think this camera is really just a good, simple, easy-to-use, first time camera. This camera is not for someone who is looking to be a professional. Some neat features that this camera has are different colors (black and white, sepia, or negative), timers that make the flash a few seconds delayed, options for different settings (children, backlight, sunset, high ISO, portrait, sport, landscape, night portrait, snow, beach, text, fireworks, flower, manner/museum, and self portrait), and an option for no flash.
