Don't Walk, RUN AWAY From This One!
I thought having an 8mp camera would produce better quality pics, well it does unless you decide to use the 5x optical zoom which lends itself to 'grainy' and 'double vision' prints. This is especially true for indoor picture taking.
Also because it's an 8mp, the picture size is over 3000...

I recently wanted to change cameras from a Kodak Z612 (which I loved - just wanted a little smaller camera) so I bought the Kodak Z885. *UPDATE: I just want to add that I am still happy with this camera but there is one definite design flaw. There is no view finder on this camera only the LCD screen. The camera is lighter and the pictures are sharper than my old DX 6440 but it does not have the wider angle of the old camera.
