Kingston 2GB Data Traveler

Pros Cheap and Rugged 5 year warranty
Cons Cap will fall off after a lot of use
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Cheap and Reliable.
I found that this is a great thumb drive to have and depend on when you need it to work for you, I have had no problems with it at all. The only problem I had was with the USB cap. The snap cap connectors will wear out and the cap won't stay on by its self any more.
One time I thought I had a problem saving music files, because it was only saving about 25% of the 2GB capacity. The problem was that I didn't create a folder and place all the files in a folder. After that it saved to full capacity. Just a heads up if you have that problem with any USB thumb drive. It's a great thumb drive. I have read stories where people left them in their pants pocket and washed them in the washer machine. And after they let them dry out they worked just as good as new.
Kingston is now a world wide company with their Global Head Quarters in Fountain Valley, California that was started way back in 1987 (21 years ago) and test 100% of its products before it is shipped off and sold. Kingston is one of the few memory manufacturers that require qualification of the components and tests modules at all stages of production. Even though it is cheap it is a good product. The Kingston Data Traveler carries up to a 5 year warranty from date of purchase if for some reason it fails.
