JVC KD-HDR1 Car CD / MP3 Player

HD Radio provides digital CD quality sound using a standard FM antenna. JVC's KD-HDR1 has HD capability without the need for additional equipment or tuners. An Ipod, Satellite Radio, or CD Changer can also be added through the changer bus for even more digital quality entertainment.

Pros Price at $199, easy to install, text is large, HD sounds incredible and aesthetically...
Cons No RDS, too little volume knob, and I recommend reading the manual. That's it!

After looking around for a new head unit I decided to go with one that pulled HD Radio also.

Most were pretty expensive, especially since we only have one station here that is in HD. Checked at www.Crutchfield.com, (which is awesome, go there first!!) and they pointed me to this unit... Read full review »
