The Bottom Line:
Whether on a budget or want the best bang for you buck, look no further, the Infinity Reference line is here!
Over the past decade, I have experimented with several brands of car speakers, searching for the perfect blend. Because many of my sound systems consisted of atleast one sub woofer, I wanted front and rear speakers that projected mids and highs clearly and efficient.
I've always been a fan of Infinity Home Speakers so I decided to give Infinity Reference a speakers a try after using several other brands such as Pioneer, Sony Xplod, Pyramid, Road Master, Eclipse, and Alpine. It's easy to get Infinity Reference speakers on ebay, and i've been lucky numerous times winning bids of $50 shipped for 2 front 6.5" and 2 rear 6x9" Infinity Reference speakers. Yes, that's $50 shipped for a set of front and rear speakers barely used.
The thing with the Infinity Reference speakers is that they don't have the best bass output, however, their mids and highs are crisp and perfect for my taste. The Infinity Reference Speakers are a perfect compliment to vehicles equipped with a subwoofer because the subwoofer(s) will make up for the bass while the Infinity Reference speakers do their job projecting solid and crisp Mid-range and High-range sounds.
If you want crisp and clear mids and highs, the Infinity Reference is the clear cut choice considering its price tag. I suggest ebay when shopping for a quality used set of Infinity Reference Speakers. If you have a nice subwoofer in your car and need speakers to compliment it, then the Infinity Reference line of speakers is perfect for you whether you're on a budget or want the best bang for your buck.
