Reasonable sound at low price
I bought these speakers about 2 months ago. At first I thought they sounded great, but after a while they sounded more like cheap speakers. There was a bit ringing in the bass, and the speaker sounded distant, which might be caused by resonance inside the speaker. It was hard to understand, what... Read full review »
If you can find a pair, grab them!
The Beta 40's sound great by any standard, and at a clearance price of $400-500 a pair, they are a steal. The sound is utterly transparent, balanced and detailed; even the bass is surprisingly tight and strong considering the size of the woofers. Read full review »
Nice sounding Speakers
So far the Beta 40's have been Exellent. They have an exellent Clear sound in the High's and midrange sound. Eric Clapton Unplugged, Eagles Hotel Califorina, Stevie Ray Vaughn. Star Wars Phantom Mennace.
