Pros Sleek and comes with cover, Familiar OS to most, Name Brand
Cons Locks up, wipes data, networking issues
Recommended it? No

I researched PDA platforms and decided to go with Windows because that was what I was most familiar with and it would allow for software platform upgrades. It was relatively easy to setup, the wireless was quite confusing. I had the unit for about three weeks when it started to lock up and not join... Read full review »

I work for a security company one of my jobs is to maintain our small fleet of Pocket PCs. Since the older pocket PC 2003 devices are now being phased out I needed to find a new Mobile 5.0 device for future purchases. I decided to purchase an IPAQ hx2795 for evaluating. The unit feels rugged, has a... Read full review »

Pros Very fast, great display, stylish.
Cons The user manual is not the best. Look to the Web for answers to questions.

I've had "Palms" since the M100 series came out. This is my first Windows device and, I have to say, I'm pretty impressed.

I have read about soft resets, "reboots" and spontaneous bouts of turning itself on (thereby draining the battery), but I can honestly say that I have had no problems... Read full review »

Pros Great overall value for your money, especially if you buy online.

I have searched and read at least 15 websites for reviews on this product, and was not surprised to see several of these web-sites with the same two people giving it a bad review. It's my experience that many people start using the device and critiquing it only when they experience problems, and... Read full review »

Pros HP security (i.e. biometric fingerprint scanner). Good battery life.
Cons Not very reliable; stalls, freezes and locks up.
Recommended it? No

I really don't want to give this product a bad review but I am not feeling very good about it. I was really looking forward to getting a pocket PC and this one seemed to have all the "bells and whistles." The processor speed, the available memory, the capacity of the Flash ROM, the fact that it was... Read full review »

I spent about 3 months or so researching which Pocket PC would be right for me. I went with the HP brand because all my electronics are HP (my laptop computer, desktop computer, digital cameras, printers, etc). I have never had a problem with any of my HP devices. When I researched Pocket PC, HP... Read full review »

Pros Wireless connection, organizer, and fingerprint recognition are wonderful.
Cons It rarely but does stall when starting.
Recommended it? Yes

I bought mine in early 2005 and it is still going strong. The audio and video quality are still excellent. This is my datebook, time keeper, birthday tracker, alarm clock, and pretty much anything else that I need it to be. This was definitely ahead of its time. I also really like the fingerprint... Dedicated PDAs are becoming obsolete these days but I had to buy one since it was a requirement for school. This PDA is built to be like a zippo lighter: you pay a lot of money for it, you baby it for a few days, and after a while you start to leave it at your buddy's place, forget it at coffee... Pros HP engineering
Cons HP customer service

Not only was it shipped with a bad battery, the screen is harder on my eyes than the Palm TX. So I asked HP to return it. So far I am just bumping into very time-consuming walls there and they are telling me too bad, 21 days is up! Seems like they're really trying to dump this stuff more than... Read full review »

Pros don't buy Hewlett Packard 2795
Cons there is basically no warranty.

Ever since I have purchased my Hewlett Packard 2795 I haven't been able to use it for a single day without resetting it over 10-15 times a day. It has been to warranty center three times already and it still has the same problem. t was a total waste of money in my opinion. there are additional or... Read full review »
