The Bottom Line:
I would get one of these iPAQ's to fulfill my need for a computer with me at all times when carrying a laptop isn't possible.
I bought this little thing for my wife but had a hard time leaving it unused in her purse. So I now use it frequently and love it. One problem with it is, If you are purchasing it to use on airplane flights it doesn't always work. I read in the manual after my flight, and it said that the device only works to something like 12,000 feet elevation. I'm sure this is due to it's touch screen. The domestic flight from LAX to Orlando must have had its cabin pressure adjusted to higher than the limit because it just froze up like the liquid inside of the touch screen swelled up under the lack of pressure and sent a false sense of the whole screen being pressed at the same time. But, it worked on the way home so... Anyway that has been my only complaint. Advice if you ever purchase anything touch screen is get a protective cover. I have had one replaceable cover on mine for almost two years now and everything still works great. Also, you can get updates for the Software from Microsoft online and also third party software to play MP3's and MPEG movies. Also It works with a 1GB SD/MMC card so it will store about half as many songs as the iPod nano (which really only plays songs) Plus the HP 4155 is a fully functional computer...Win win. P.S. Don't Ever Drop It!
