Most frustrating printer ever
Bought this SOLELY to print artwork on printable CDs & DVDs, but it's the most time-consuming, frustrating process I've encountered.
The HP insists on using ONLY the Roxio software that's included, so I can't use the far superior Discus software I already have.

Better in some areas than others
I've had this printer for 2 1/2 years. I got it both for the photo-printing and cd/dvd-printing capabilities. I found it easy to set up. I got it working under my linux system with few problems.
