The Bottom Line:
Very nice, can't see anything wrong with this purchase.
So far the HP 8050 has been wonderful for me, I am very impressed with the quality of the photos that I have printed so far. I found it pretty simple and quick to set up and start making pictures, it only took me about 30 minutes to go from the box to the first printing.
The set up was pretty much automatic I just followed the simple instructions and away it went. It even imported all 303 of my pictures from my documents folder. It asked me and I said "yes" and it was done.
The first picture I tried was in the wrong orientation, but that was my fault for not using the proper application in the software, I was trying to print on 4x6 paper but was doing so from the set up which allows you to print lots of pictures on one sheet which was dumb, but I didn't see the tab that said Single Prints. I used the right one on the next picture and it was excellent.
Everything was easy about it. The 8050 uses a USB cable to connect to the computer so that's easy too.
I haven't tried printing without using the computer yet so I can't commment on the ease of that situation at this time. Will update after I attempt it.
