The Bottom Line:
Great for a budget printer but may have paper tray issues.
Having received this printer as a gift, it seemed like a decent printer for the price. The print quality is relatively great and prints at a good speed. The exterior looks nice, with USB and memory card slots in the front for when wanting to plug in something like a camera and print directly from the printer itself. The power button is conveniently located, along with the rest on the other side.
One major annoyance that I find bothersome is that the paper tray seems very sensitive to how the paper is loaded. Often when I try to print something the printer will give me a message saying that there is no paper loaded. Other times it'll shoot out a blank sheet before printing the actual print job. It can take me up to a minute to correct the issue and playing around with the paper in the tray to finally get it to print. This is one of the first HP models that I noticed did this to me, perhaps poor build quality is to blame unless there is something wrong with my printer only. It's a great budget printer if you are not necessarily looking for anything too fancy or with more features.
