Great Desktop Replacement but heavy for travel
I got my HP laptop as a replacement for a desktop PC. As such, it had to have all the capabilities, ports, plugs, etc that my desktop had, and it had to do it without chewing my wallet up and spitting it in my face. My old laptop (dell inspiron 8200) had just recently died due to a bad harddrive. So it was time to start looking for a new laptop (yes, I know I could have just replaced the harddrive for less, but the technology was getting old)

Very capable laptop, mainly for desktop replacement use
I bought this laptop about three months ago from Office Depot on a price match to CompUSA and got a bargain. This is a very nice unit with virtually everything you could want - DVD Burner, WiFi built-in, ClearView screen, full-sized keyboard, media card reader, firewire...the list goes on.
