At the end...works fine!
This is my third universal remote. None have been perfect, nor easy. The Harmony 628 is the closest and now that it's all set up - it works perfectly. Really good idea. Really bad execution.
Right from the start this device got off on the wrong foot. It required that the batteries be removed and replaced at every single step of the initialization and upgrade or my PC would stop communicating with it.
The 3.0 firmware upgrage fixed this, but it was far more difficult than it should...

Don't waste your money
Bought this remote about a year ago because my brother had said many good things about the Harmony remotes he owned. Maybe it's just this particular model, but I have wanted to throw this piece of crap at the tv time after time. Yes, the programmed activity keys are useful...if only they worked...
