I have this phone & an additional ext for two years now.
Pros
one city block/still get reception. Design includes comfort grips on the receivers. many more features
Cons
There are 20 ringtones, mostly melodies. I preferred half to be version of standard tones.

I am very satisfied with this phone/answerer. It is easy to program all features, has crystal clear reception/delivery. The answering machine has 3 mailboxes and a button for each. There are also buttons for 2 different outgoing messages. You record a main one and then you can record another for use during the holidays, vacation, etc. One touch is all it takes. I liked the phone so much, I purchased an additional extension. And, after two years, Both extensions are still working from their original batteries. The phone also contains a "do not disturb" button to quiet the ringer when desired. all programming button are easy to reach. There is an on/off switch for the answering machine. Also volume control on the message machine as well as the receiver(s). Additional handsets need only to be plugged in for the charging dock. No 2nd phone jack required.
