Decent machine for home printing
The RX500, overall, is a decent machine for home printing. I have purchased this printer a year ago, and thus far have had minimal problems with it. The ink management of this machine is comparable to other all-in-ones.

Will never buy EPSON again
On the good side, the scanner and photo quality of this printer are superb. Once it starts printing it is a relatively fast printer, but it seems like I am always sitting around waiting for it to boot up, clean the heads or initialize a print job. RX500 ink problems
Have had this Epson RX500 for a year+. Will never purchase another printer like this one. The printer has 6 ink cartridges and when printing black, it also uses the other colors. What a trap!
After owning this model for over a year I've decided to move on to another brand. Epson RX500
It doesn't get any worse than this printer. Drinks like Ted Kennedy, is as easy to install as a nuclear reactor and performs like a Daewoo. do not recommend it
I do not recommend buying this printer or any Epson RX-series printer. I own the RX500 and no longer want it. My major complaint is that if you run out of any color cartridge, you can't print a plain black and white document. And to add to that frustration, the ink levels will decrease even if you...
