A good basic scanner
I "inherited" this scanner from my parents about six months ago. They didn't have any of the cables, installation disks, or instructions - just the scanner itself.

Epson perfection 1670
I bought this scanner over a year ago with the idea to scan colored slides and negatives. I tried it with a few slides and was satisfied with the results. Didn't get to that project yet and the scanner died last week after fewer than 75 scans under its belt. It lights up I haven't tried dealing... Read full review »
Wonderful scanner, i'll have it forever.
This scanner, has somehow stood the test of time. It hasn't broken, after constant use, and many years. I've had this thing on my desk for so long, I don't remember how long i've had it.
