Kodak EasyShare C300 Digital Camera

I got this camera while it was on sale for $84.00 at on online store. The camera itself fits well in the hands and actually has a nice grip on the side of it. It's fairly lightweight and not a pain to carry around. I bought this camera to replace my recently-deceased 2 Megapixel pocket camera that I took everywhere. Although the C300 boasts 3.2 MP, I really couldn't see much improvement from my 2 megapixel camera. Takes decent photographs, but digital zoom really distorts the images so don't expect to do any close-up photography because this camera just can't handle it. It has a nice video-recording video, so that can be fun to use with friends and such, but the video lacks sound, so in my opinion that makes the C300's video recording capabilities extremely limited. I read somewhere on another site that the C300 doesn't have any exposure correction. When I got the camera, however, I noticed it DOES have manual exposure correction in the menu. The main thing that frustrates me with this camera is its total lack of focusing. There's no manual focus, there's no auto focus, there's nothing. If the C300 boasted focusing, then I would recommend this camera to everyone, but sadly, it doesn't. That being said, I only recommend this product for digital camera beginners or people that need a "travel" digital camera aside from their expensive digital camera.
