The Bottom Line:
Look around and get a good sounding speaker for about the same price.
I purchased these speakers after my old Altec Lansing speakers went out. I was looking for a set of speakers for about $30 and this got good reviews on other websites.
I brought these in, hooked them up, played one song and knew they were going right back. There was no volume, a constant hum to the subwoofer, you have to keep the volume on the speakers low and raise volume on computer to reduce the humming. If you are really into music and like to blast it loud, this is not the set up to do it with. The overall quality made my music sound like it was underwater.
I put these back in the box and returned them.
From now on I will stick to what I know.
