I've owned this camera for over a year now and have taken some absolutely wonderful pictures with it. I keep it set for five megapixels and have a number of the best shots blown up to 16x20 prints and framed in my house and office. The print quality is fantastic, the colors are vibrant and the focus is perfect on these shots.
Along with the still camera, I find that I use the video function a lot more than I expected. It's handy to carry around on a hike, shoot some still shots, then turn and take movies of the kids climbing across a log or throwing mud at each other.
It has been a great camera overall, but it's not perfect. It is painfully slow when shooting, which is a major frustration (and another reason I do a lot of video). It also makes a of blurry shots if the lighting isn't just right (though it will give you a warning sign indicating when the light is too low for a crisp picture).
I've been pleased with the camera in general, though as I become more interested in photography, I'm finding its limitations more frustrating.
