Great idea, decent compatibility. I had issues from time to time with the printer not wanting to print even when it showed jobs in the queue. I never had paper jams or mis-prints, like seem to happen with some other printers. The print quality is decent, and it was nice to have on hand for instant gratification, but the cartridges aren't cheap and can be hard to find in stores. It's nice to have, but not a "must".
