My father was in need of a digital camera that was small and versatile. He wanted something that would be good for taking any type of photo. He needed to take "before and after" photos of homes at work. He races homing pigeons, and wanted something that could take great action shots and close-ups... Read full review »

I have to admit; I am a fairly brand loyal person. Once I find something that works; I tend to stick with it. Over the years I have found that when it comes to digital camera's; Olympus simply cannot be beat. I had tried Fuji; Kodak, HP and others; but Olympus was always king for me. Great... Cons A little Pricey.

I've had the SD 950IS for about 8 months and love it.  I am a Canon fan, so I probably have some bias, but I tried an EOS SLR REBEL and it worked great.  When I used it for photos while at soccer games or on a hike, it produced some awesome pictures.  The problem was, it was too big for the way I... Canon's new Powershot SD950 IS Digital Camera has a whopping 12.1 Mega pixels in a compact Titanium casing.

Battery
The battery is of lightweight, long lasting, Li-Ion type. This I find very positive because it enables you to take many shots in one charge and still, the battery does... Read full review »

I bought this camera to replace my old 6 megapixel Kodak Easy Share. This camera is amazing. The color appears very accurate, and the picture is crisp and clear. I love the image stabilization feature as well, no more blurry images. Read full review »

This past Christmas my husband and I had the same idea for Christmas gifts - to upgrade our very old 2MP camera to a very current model. I ended up purchasing a 12MP Sony camera from my husband (we are usually brand loyal to Sony) and he bought me the Canon. Christmas day we laughed when we... Read full review »

Bought this camera for my trip to Punta Cana and I must say I am very happy I did. I read the manual, or rather reviewed it on the plane ride and started snapping shots as soon as I was off the plane. The first few pictures were a little blurry but after trying other settings, the next ones were... Read full review »

The IXUS series was one of my favorites from Canon. The new model with IS helps taking photos at the long end of the zoom or in not so well light rooms without flash.
I find the IS great, I have a camera without IS and I miss it...

Go out shoot and have fun
