Can't Keep It in My Ear
Pros
inexpensive
Cons
uncomfortable, poor sound quality
Recommended it?
No
The Bottom Line:
It's an uncomfortable and inconvenient device.
I purchased this device after I lost my Plantronics headset at a sporting event recently. I've been using is regularly for two weeks now, and I have three beefs with it:
1. The ear bud (the bit the actually goes in my ear) is so big that it isn't comfortable. It feels more like an ear plug, and it stretches out my tragus, which makes it hard for me to wear it for more an 30 minutes at a time. It also doesn't fit in the ear canal, so callers' voices often sound muffled.
The set comes with a smaller bud, but that one doesn't fit snugly in my ear.
2. The on/off button sits right where one would touch the set in order to adjust it. Several times now I've gone to adjust the device in my ear, and I've inadvertently hung up on my caller. Not good.
3. The wire that hooks the device behind my ear is made with flexible wire. While this may seem appealing, it's not - at least for me. It's really difficult for me to put the device on and take it off; each time I do so I have to use both hands in order to "mold" the wire to my ear. This is really hard to do while driving, for example. The wire also interferes with my glasses in a way that I can't seem to fix.
