Pros Easy to setup/use, with good wireless performance.

Cons Not for power users, expensive, less than perfect reliability. 802.11g only.

Recommended it? Yes

I've had att/sbc dsl service several times in the past, and noticed that recently they have been supplying these wireless home gateways / dsl modems.

Pros easy setup; nice control panels; good wireless range; Mac&Win setup disk & utilities

Cons wish Internet light would blink to show activity; lights glare; needs printed manual

vMy Westell home gateway has been slowly dying, so AT&T sent me this modem/wireless gateway yesterday. Instructions were sparse, but the lion's share of the setup is done by the installation disk. It has drivers for both Mac OS X and various versions of Windows.
