The CVA28 is a totally integrated, matched, and optimized active speaker system that provides powerful sound in a small, modular package. The system configuration starts with an innovative, 3 way, dual 8 inch design. The dual 8 configuration was chosen for optimized directionality and extremely clean, off axis response. The custom designed Cerwin Vega drivers also provide superior power handling, tight bass and refined mid-range. Finally, a compression driver is placed in the center of the top woofer in a concentric configuration. This design provides time aligned high frequencies for incredible detail and imaging.

The Cerwin Vega CVi218S is a portable, dual 18 inch dedicated subwoofer designed to extend and supplement the low frequency extension of full range systems in live music and playback applications. The CVi218S features two high power, cast frame 18 inch speakers with 3 inch voice coils for extended use during high SPL applications. Steel handles and pole mount cup are also featured for use as a base for pole mounted full range systems. This configuration allows the two drivers to work together in the same acoustic space to reduce distortion components caused by driver mechanical non-linearity when the system is driven at high levels.
